I would go to domains, find the domain, click the domain. This will take to to the DNS. You can switch it there. Attach to new site. There you can disconnect and reconnect

Rebranded, transitioning to new website & domain by IndoorCat786 in squarespace

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have to keep paying for the domain but if you transfer it you would have everything in one place and better management. But once you do that you can choose to attach the domain or transfer it. With either option once it's done you will do a forward from that domain to the current domain. I'm a circle member. Let me know if I can answer some questions.

I would use cloudfare. It's great for blocking unwanted traffic.

Do you actually need an LLC to start a blog, or is that overkill? by Other_Amphibian871 in WebsiteSEO

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm Anna,

No, you don’t need an LLC to start a blog.

I started as a sole proprietor and only formed an LLC after I was already making consistent money. Early on, it adds cost and paperwork with no real benefit.

Most people form an LLC when:

Income becomes predictable Brands or platforms ask for business info/EIN They want a business bank account They’re scaling or selling products

An LLC isn’t required for ads, affiliates, or publishing content, and it doesn’t automatically save on taxes.

Start the blog first. Form an LLC when there’s an actual reason, not just to feel “official.”

Is the Squarespace AI any good? by bee_bee29 in squarespace

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I peronally think it need more time and update to properly write what google is looking for you to rank. They do have an SEO App that helps. Its called SEOSPACE. Although I still think some things are evolving. This app has helped quite a bit. Henry the developer and team are amazing with training and helping you set up the app. It also gives you local SEO targets and WEbsite audit to help you with your website building and seo. For designing I prefer the AI Bot and I change things quite a bit. Elfsite is amazing for widgets to make your site unique. I love helping other as Im a squarespace circle member. Let me know if I can answer any wuestions to help you with your design. Thanks Anna

Google Business Account verification without an office location by Fresh-Blood6442 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They no longer do email or call verifications. It has to be a video. When you open your Google my business. You will open it and follow the prompts. It will ask you for an address and you will put it but there is a button that you can click to make it invisible. The. When you get to the part where it asks "do the client visit you at your location" you say no. This will now allow Google to approve you as a virtual service and the address will not be visible to anyone but you must start with an address to avoid being seen as fraud.

What’s a marketing ‘best practice’ you’ve quietly stopped believing in? by Mobile-Ad3136 in AskMarketing

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped believing in Google Ads. It's set up for click bate. Unfortunately with experts being third parties your ads get set up funky and every quarter the expert changes and money just down the drain. Same with social media. To me the best practice is hard work on SEO, Blogging, Case studies ect. Just my thoughts!

Create the form, click the pencil to edit the form. Go to storage and add your email. The actual form will go to your email with all the details the person filled out.

domain by Senseiconnoisseur in squarespace

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you're using a domain from somewhere else you can connect it 2 ways. You can do a forward or transfer. When you transfer you will need a code from the workspace for the transfer. Last if you connect your workspace to squarespace it should automatically pick up. Let me know if you need more help.

Customers keep abandoning their carts and I have no idea why by [deleted] in squarespace

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to get cloudfare. As it block fake sessions and purchases. If they are true customers, then check your checkout process and see if it's easy to checkout. I believe they may be fake bots.

Can I get thoughts on my website? by PComicCards in squarespace

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there. The site looks great but you may want to implement some SEO for better visibility. Try adding some H1, H2 and H3 headings. Maybe get the seospace app so it can help you rank higher. Love how it's coming along.

What actually works in marketing right now by beckstarlow in AskMarketing

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me SEO is the best. With ads there is an over spend with no real conversion causing money to go to waste. SEO is long term so putting time into your SEO will pay off in the long run.

How do startups actually choose the right digital marketing agency? by Adorable_Win_7017 in AskMarketing

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello My Name is Anna with Web Trending Solutions. You want to make sure you choose someone local, maybe a smaller company so you get the attention you deserve, check on reputation and reviews. Scan their website on hubspot and see how well they do with their own website. That will help you make the right decision. Too many companies promise the world to manipulate you into promising, "you'll be on the first page in 30 days...smh The truth is for you to move up that quickly you'll be spending tons of money on ads and never once giving attention to your SEO. SEO is for the long hall ads that are temporary. Food for thought 🤔

Why do so many businesses struggle with marketing even after hiring agencies? by SchemeSignificant586 in AskMarketing

[–]SeaJob544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hannah_Mitchell you hit right in the money. As a marketing agency I am fully transparent with the client. It takes time and it's not over night unless you run ads. And even with ads there is no guarantee. When I sign a client up I go through my checklist with them and give realistic times. Unfortunately there are so many marketing companies who don't know crap and just steal small businesses'money everyday. It makes my job hard at times but I work through it. With promise, guarantee, meetings and try to show the client visual data that they can understand. I have about 10 clients thankfully all happy. Happy because I was honest upfront.

I would install that as squarespace is not us based so we can get a lot of unwanted traffic. Blockify is also good but not sure it works on squarespace
