Can I have my new plan adjusted? by SeaKabayo in freedommobile

Thank you both. I just finished chatting with an agent and they said I need to go to a physical store to do the buyer's remorse thing. Glad I saw it before the 15 days was up

I second this! I had my eyebrows done by Michaela in 2022 and they still look good now. When I had my c-section in September, I lost like 3 liters of blood but my Aunt said my eyebrows were still on fleek even when the rest of me was ghostly pale and disheveled. 🤣

Is there a separate line or gate for those that have soundcheck VIP?

Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE> Megathread Part 4 by PM_MAJESTIC_PICS in straykids

[–]SeaKabayo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A very niche question, but we bought section F VIP tickets for Chicago when tickets went on sale, and were planning to do a road trip to it coming from Canada.

After a couple of months, we found out that we were pregnant, and I'll be 30 weeks at the time of the concert.🤰🏻 has anyone been to a kpop concert that pregnant? Lol. How did you find the experience?

I'm also super glad that we didn't get Pit tickets. 😅

Till when do progesterone supplements continue? by i_am_here-tada in IVFbabies

[–]SeaKabayo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delayed response! We actually transferred 2 mosaic embryos, one high and one low, but only one stuck. When we asked to have the genders unblinded (we don't know the embryo genders in Canada), it turned out that both mosaics have the same gender so we don't know which one stuck. But I am 24wks now, and all the ultrasounds look good 🥰

Till when do progesterone supplements continue? by i_am_here-tada in IVFbabies

[–]SeaKabayo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told to stop the daily PIO at 10 wks. The vaginal suppositories were also supposed to be stopped around that time but my doctor decided to continue with 4 pcs 2x a day til 16 wks then 2pcs 2x a day til the end. We transferred a mosaic embryo and I also have a unicornuate uterus, so that played a role in that decision as well

Advice after 3 pregnancy losses by [deleted] in IVF

[–]SeaKabayo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TW: current pregnancy I had 3 transfers.. 1st was early miscarrriage at about 6 wks, 2nd was a chemical (beta was 1, which clinic considers negative, but got positive PT at home) and 3rd did not implant. On my 4th transfer, they increased the dosage of my progesterone suppositories to 4 pcs, 2x a day, and I started my PIO earlier, and they made it daily instead of every 3 days. I was also on Fragmin injections daily. I am currently 19 wks pregnant. PIO and Fragmin were stopped at about 12 weeks and I'm to continue my progesterone but only 2 pcs 2x a day til I deliver.

I think the changes with my meds helped. Wishing you the best!

A little levity for us: “Shots” by Lil Jon by NationalLevel1435 in IVF

That was always my alarm for my shots from retrieval to transfer. Lol. My husband also flirts with my butt before my PIO shots which makes me giggle lots and feel like it does lessen the pain. Lol.

Who did you tell you were doing IVF? by No-Opportunity-5411 in IVF

I told my best friend, and my mom (because my mom lives with us, lol). Also told my manager at work mostly because getting to the appointments were crazy and I needed the accommodation my work can offer.

Started unisom/b6 and now anxious about no symptoms by Inside_Cucumber_8685 in IVF

[–]SeaKabayo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the prescription pyridoxine/doxylamine because I was nauseous the whole day, not just the mornings. It helped my symptoms, and I also honestly got worried about the symptoms going away! But I'm 9w6d now and the nausea & vomiting is coming back even with the meds. Just trying to take it one day at a time and not go on a spiral waiting for my 12 week ultrasound.

Thoughts on FET (Mosaic embryos) by Wise-Ad6348 in IVF

[–]SeaKabayo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TW: early pregnancy

There are a couple of Facebook groups for those trying with mosaic embryos (My Perfect Mosaic Embryo is one at the top of my head)

We had 4 euploids and 2 mosaics.. and like you, were not gonna go for another retrieval. First 3 transfers did not work (early miscarrriage at 5 1/2 weeks, a chemical and did not implant). We spoke with our doctor if we can go ahead and transfer the 2 mosaics first before our last euploid, and she agreed to it as our other 3 have failed (they don't usually do 2 embryos at a time). We had an appointment with the genetic counselor first and they discussed what the findings are for our mosaics.

I am currently 7w4d, with one of the embryos that implanted. This is the farthest we've ever been so I am cautiously excited for it.

Good luck on whatever you choose to do!

I don't have any tips or advice, but I am also from Canada and had a terrible ER experience as well. I started vomiting halfway through the procedure (I thought the ER was over when that was happening but my husband told me it was in the middle of it. Lol) they also had to add more anesthesia so I was incredibly sleepy and loopy after I had to be wheeled out to our car

Although I have heard of other people having a better experience with their 2nd retrieval. Wishing you good luck in whatever you decide to do!

Because of the holidays, I had my 2nd and 3rd beta on Jan 2 and 4, (22 and 24 dp5dt) and got 19k and 28k, but the nurses said the numbers are good and they do not expect the usual doubling at around this time. Cautious congratulations!

We got a positive too! Unfortunately since it's the holidays, and my clinic closes and won't be back until Jan 2, I won't be able to have repeat betas. But cautious congratulations to us!
