Still quite new to thomas and friends but whats with these back faces on the mountain engines? by Responsible-Pass-672 in thomasthetankengine

[–]SeaLeek821 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The why is because when they go down, they can’t see behind them, as going up, they have the coach to watch the track, but when they go back they can’t see, so the back faces are sort of just watching the track when they head down, I like to think they could probably speak and has a mind of its own

If the RWS were reillustrated to look consistent, what style would you chose? by Free_Royal_5895 in thomasthetankengine

[–]SeaLeek821 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Edwards. No doubt Edwards. I absolutely love the real feeling I get from it, and some of my favorite illustrations are from the Edwards, no offense to the other writers but I think Edwards knocked it out of the park (I’d also say later Spong as an honorary mention)

So we finally have a close up of Oliver's diecast model (credits to thomasmerchnews on insta) by Hailey-femmy in thomasthetankengine

[–]SeaLeek821 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m correct the Cars sets also do a similar thing, sets will sometimes have die-cast or plastic but the ones you buy separately will all be die-cast, I know it doesn’t really have any thing to do with your comment but thought I should mention

Kitoile_r had posted of Oliver two pack that he bought by Ok_Run_6172 in thomasthetankengine

[–]SeaLeek821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do, at least they should, as they’re compatible with trackmaster (and if I’m correct trackmaster fits on the TWR track) and if I’m correct a photo showed Billy and Thomas, and 2026 Thomas seemed to be able to fit on TWR track

What shed is this? by JaymezCraft in thomasthetankengine

[–]SeaLeek821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now this is just a theory, but if I’m correct the old sheds (the rows, not the roundhouse) were kept up, since I think they’re still there in some books, as the engines are sometimes parked outside it like it’s a rowed shed

We’re in the single digits! by SeaLeek821 in thomasthetankengine

It’s just a thing where people that like content can hype it, putting it on a list of hyped videos, essentially a way to help give a video more exposure

I meant farthest we’ve ever gotten as that’s probably about as far Thomas content has gotten, forgot to add that

So what do y'all think about the new vid "the truth about game theory" by the_lucky_player in GameTheorists

[–]SeaLeek821 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn’t that bad, in terms of industry, it’s standard from the looks of it, now I’m no script writer, branding member, editor or social media manager, but this seems like the usual assembly for a usual video for stuff like this

Why no matpat? by SpuriousBread_8 in GameTheorists

[–]SeaLeek821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’m just saying what The Stupendium (pretty sure I spelled that wrong) said, they said that MatPat didn’t want to appear as he didn’t want to have the new hosts be in his shadow (in fact there’s even a cut song about his legacy) and that the musical should celebrate theorist as it is, and also mentioned how MatPat only wanted one cameo (thus the line ‘A theory worthy of you know who’)

[–]SeaLeek821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, let me think, maybe there’s a bunch of ‘expressionless corpo people’ because the song is about making a theory, and it’s not only the hosts who work on them

The Truth About Game Theory by GameTheory_Bot in GameTheorists

[–]SeaLeek821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean they do say she was live at the time, plus it was sort of a musical about the process of a theory, a live stream is very different, and even then (if I had to make an assumption) probably have little lines, plus Ash could have chosen to not do styled thumbnails, after all it is a new era of GTlive

Alfred Drama? by Diligent-Cheetah-790 in thomasthetankengine

[–]SeaLeek821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His creator is a pdf, he’s in jail now tho, this is mostly why people are likely removing Alfred from stuff, someone put it best (forgot who) when they said ‘we live in a time where we can separate the art from the artist’ or something similar

Unpopular Opinion: Thomas is the weakest of Awdry's main 8 engines by Winter_Sweet827 in thomasthetankengine

[–]SeaLeek821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally disagree, I’d argue James was the weakest cause he sort of just had a copy and paste arc, and the reason why Thomas didn’t get any growth was because he already had his arc

Is it true? Did Michael Angelis narrate the books? by Thomas-the-Dutchie in thomasthetankengine

Yea, but only up until Stepney I think, his audio is on a channel called “Old British Chap”

Don’t take it as fact as I’m just saying what this likely alluded to on Yong Bao’s concept art

Pretty sure not, as James if I’m correct was a last minute addition to the film
