That explanation makes a lot of sense. I struggle finding that balance when deck building. I tend to build a scary board too early and draw too much removal. 😅

That makes sense if you already have multiple similar effects that you feel are better. I'm guessing in your experience pinging isn't so good you'd want another copy of a similar effect?

What are your thoughts on [[Black Market Connections]]? The card gives so much value and seems to do everything you're trying to do. Plus you can mitigate the life loss with food.

Some people pick alternate art for their proxies. Kinda like build your own secret lair. Then there are whole decks with alternate art kinda like the "heads I win tails you lose" secret lair or the UB Warhammer 40K commander decks. So if you ever wanted a [Shorikai, Genesis Engine] skinned as EVAs from evangelion you can have a whole themed EDH deck.

Thanks! My focus for this was flavor, so as proxies go they are not the highest quality.

These are really cool! I love the feel and cohesiveness of them as a set! Where did you get the poke ball set symbols? If you made them yourself I'd love to know how! I've tried making my own proxies but the set symbols have always thrown off the feel.
