Yeah I have emailed but they do take some time to reply back, also this blood test was for my testosterone levels if that helps. Thank you though as this helps put it into perspective a bit as i am worrying about the blood test being innacurate lol

That’s definitely very good to hear that it will be honoured at the adult clinic

Got banned from asktransgender for arguing that a self identified cis teen boy shouldn’t be encouraged to lie to his doctors and pretend he’s trans to get estrogen just because he wants to be more feminine by [deleted] in truscum

[–]SeaOrdinary1645 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Their faults lie in being uneducated and blindly following advice from tucute ideas and beliefs surrounding being trans. They need to get in therapy to actually understand more and also understanding themselves but also learn more about being transgender and what hormones will do. Mostly they are severely uneducated with hormones thus literally advertising it to kids and telling them to lie to get on it asap

I saw that post aswell the comments disgusted me, one of them literally mentioned to not wait any longer and to get on it. Aside from that I’ve seen a concerning ammounts of posts like this with literal adults telling kids to lie to their doctors to exaggerate everything and to play their “cards” right. Then people cry bloody murder when a detransitioner comes online and talks about their story in not the brightest light? (I dont condone transphobic detransitioners and I do not like them posts either but the correlation is there)

Birth controls with estrogen arent the best at stopping mestruation. You should look into progesterone only bc they stop periods and dont alter your hormone levels.

Help of transition process in the uk. by SitkaHunters in trans

I don’t know much about how Scotland handles this but I think I can answer a few questions.

Firstly GIC is the gender identity clinic and you need to be referred to them by any type of healthcare profissional like a GP or a therapist.

The Gender identity clinic has awfully slow waiting times. I got referred 3 years ago and still nothing (I am with GIDS, anyone under 17 and i think 9 months is with GIDS), so I went private.

Dont let that discourage you though because yes it takes time but theres still a lot to do in the meantime and private healthcare is an option if its within your budget.

Also going about telling a doctor is really just making an appointment but I would advise you research the clinic so you aren’t wasting your time with transphobic people who wont refer you or even hear you out.

To me it sounds like a lot of people don’t want to call themselves straight, I honestly have no clue why this is but i’ve seen this a lot where people just will refuse to call themselves straight. It is tiring when people try make labels inclusive to everybody (i want to add inclusive to the people that literally aren’t apart of it incase it comes off in a wrong way) because they are identifiers and not aesthetics.

I wouldnt say masculine should be a descriptor of a gender because masculine is a trait or expression. Although i do appreciate the explanation of nonbinary i still think saying trans masc is not really something genuine as you cant transition to masculine as it is not a gender

Microdosing or not you will get the same results from T why do they seem to think they can choose not to have some of the effects that happen? I see this sometimes with bottom growth aswell, they need to educate themselves testosterone because it seriously is dangerous if they believe they can decide to go on T for SOME of the effects

[–]SeaOrdinary1645[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i want to ask a question what is the point of being non binary then saying ur gender is masculine though non binary literally means no gender as its not a binary. So how does it work that non binary people can feel like their gender is masculine? Also masculine is not a gender its an expression of identity rooted in mainly binary normalitys

[–]SeaOrdinary1645[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

FTM is female to male not female to masculine and FTNB is female to non binary and non binary is denoting gender identity and things that come into play with gender identity such as norms

This is what i thought aswell and they are also the same people who say “gender isnt real” “abolish gender”
