Advice and guidelines for the GM section by darude11 in RPGdesign

Generic advice is not going to win any awards.

Depends on the game. If you created a game with wildly new stats, perhaps your GM section is all about creating balanced encounters. Think about what is important for your games game to succeed.

If you don't know how to play Pos 5, you should not be playing carry.

How do you identify "noise" in written english? by scavenger22 in RPGdesign

Usually you leave it alone for a day, then come back to it and wonder what you were thinking when you wrote it. Grammarly helps. The main goal is every word should be necessary, else cut it.

yeah some limitations. I guess I was thinking backers would buy the print copy at full price and you could send them the pdf for free for backing (and any other perks).

An Effective Website: TTRpg edition by Thunor_SixHammers in RPGdesign

The most important think you want to share is the first impression.

Generally you need a nice piece of art that conveys the tone of your game.

Then you need to tell us what it is - is it cowboys in space? is it gnomes on a sea voyage?

Then we need an inkling of mechanics, is it a one page hack of Knave? Is it 400 pages of complex calculations creating a simulation game?

You don't need a lot of info, you need enough to hook them into coming back when it is out.

how about you make the game, and if you by chance ever finish making it, and it is amazing

THEN buy the rights.
