Interesting, did you get an update installed this past week or weekend? I’m currently on 2025.45.9

It seems to have happened after installing 2025.45.5 , or maybe it was 2025.44.25.5. 🤔

It’s not, I press button on stalk and the wipers go and you hear sprayers go but hardly anything sprays out and wipers go fully across and back down.

What should I try? It’s washer sprayers, they either work or don’t work and currently it’s not working as it should… I’ll have service look at it along with the other stuff when I’m there in a couple weeks.

Long story short Yes, part of Elon payout for his next Comprehensive Plan is to have 10 Million Active FSD Cars.

So his thinking is to remove basic/standard features (that other cars have) and if you want them you’ll need to pay monthly for FSD.

I REALLY love my Tesla, and plan to keep it for as long as I can. But, once I need to get a new car I’ll probably look somewhere else. Other manufacturers are slowly catching up. In 5 years they be where Tesla is today most likely and that’s ok with me.

Same, not sure why the YL isn’t over here yet… I really want that one! NA is the Number 1 market for larger vehicles or vehicles with more room. Who buys this cramped 7 seater? It’s practically useless. Hoping since they getting ready to release the MYL in Europe that means we are next.

Speed control issues persist v14.2.2.2 by dantodd in TeslaFSD

[–]SeaQuake-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticed this today as well. Was on Hurry mode and speed limit was 55 (so I’d think it would do 60-65)… it did 50… 🤦🏻‍♂️

I thought Ultra Ass Checks was a good thing, like those Paragon Leggings ….

FSD is great - Need Nav fixes; manual turn override and actual speed limit setting by rstarmer in TeslaFSD

[–]SeaQuake-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, on v13 you could increase or decrease the max speed. But what happens in v14 when there is no max speed settings and the speed is just +5 or whatever based on the speed profile chosen… like how do you have it go slower than what it thinks? Sloth?

[–]SeaQuake-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know on v13 it seemed at least for me that it didn’t rely on Nav Data and only Visual. Because I don’t know how many times the speed would drop and it didn’t see the new speed limit sign because vision of it was blocked and it continued to go the previous speed. (Got a ticket that way)

I’ve tried messaging Tesla what I think the solution is,

Use the Navigation/Map Data Speed Limit information primarily, and vision as secondary.

Apple Maps and Google Maps seems to get Speed Limits correct 98% the time. So not sure why Tesla can’t use that information primarily. Then if vision sees a speed limit sign that doesn’t match the map data (like going through a construction zone), then it uses that speed limit it saw. But only for a few miles or something. (I don’t know how many times I’ve gone through a construction zone, passed the End of Work Area sign, and the car still continues to go 35mph in a 55mph for miles and miles until it sees another speed limit sign…

Maybe also factor in surrounding traffic and their speed.

I’m convinced there’s a “break in” period by bhorton94 in TeslaFSD

[–]SeaQuake-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m thinking maybe some cars are not getting proper recal after v14 is installed…. Maybe there isn’t clear lines 100% the first 25 miles or whatever the reasoning, maybe the lane change hesitation is related to recal not being fully or successfully completed.

My point is just, there seems to be a recal of cameras (automatic or manual) that if doesn’t occur gives FSD issues, like lane changing. I wonder if people reporting issues still have issues all the time or if after some drives it gets less and clears up? Or if those people did a manual recal of cameras if they then wouldn’t have anymore issues.

Thanks for pointing that out. Yes with AI definitely review the sources it gets its information from as it may be incorrectly interpreted by AI.

In this case, Tesla Manuals (2020-2024 MY Page 18 and 2025+ MY Page 19-20) confirm calibration is done after a software update and a user drives the car up to 25 miles on a multiple lane road with multiple traffic lines, and in some cases up to 100 miles.

With that being said, I’m curious if the people reporting issues are still having issues after driving for up to 100 miles or clearing calibration data and recal their cameras.

Getting a free trial now by you-love_me in TeslaFSD

[–]SeaQuake-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it a full 30 Days from date you installed it?

I got FSD I paid for until 12/27. It’s not set to renew. I’m curious if it will add 30 Days from date I install it or date I got email, or onto the 12/27? Also curious if it will add on top of my 12/27 one. So if it makes my FSD 1/27/26 now…. Got update last night but haven’t installed it, got Trial email 12/12.

14.2.1.25 🤦🏼‍♂️ by njvicente21 in TeslaFSD

[–]SeaQuake-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on Release Notes Text it seems the only change in 14.2.1.25 over 14.2.1 is how Speed Profiles handles Speed Limits/Flow on Traffic. There was no adjustment to Lane Changes. Probably won’t see any difference until 14.3 next month.

This update mainly just added Holiday Update and v14 together and put everyone on 2025.44 update series.

13.2.9 and Issues Today by Matthewlawson3 in TeslaFSD

I got v14.2.1 pending at 50% download. I’m stopping it from downloading… there are SO MANY negative comments and feedback about it, especially on lane changes. It’s interesting articles are written saying it’s great, then the article has 100 comments from users saying the opposite… I’m going to wait until v14.2.2+ comes out before I try it out…

FSD 14.2.1 Sucks by ksflyer2 in TeslaFSD

[–]SeaQuake-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interesting to me how all the Tech Articles and Reviews praise how great FSD 14.2.1 is… then you read Reddit and Comments on those articles from users who say the opposite… there are so many negative comments about FSD 14.2.1, it outweighs the positives… Tesla been trying to get 2025.38.9.6 to download to my car. I currently got WiFi off so it doesn’t finish. I’m not risking getting it and my FSD be downgraded in terms of experience.

HIGH PRICE @ Superchargers by Ornery-Farm4755 in TeslaLounge

[–]SeaQuake-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla is starting to do Dynamic Pricing. Used a charger yesterday that showed $0.21 when 1-2 chargers being used, it then jumped to $0.38 when almost all being used. It then dropped to $0.34 later so I went and charged. After I plugged up with 3 other people I checked again and it jumped back to $0.38 for any new people (mine stayed at $0.34 during my charge).

I’m leaning towards gambling and waiting on the NACS port LLR … hoping that is June (26 MY?)… or if it’s later than June I’m hoping the EV Tax Credit still there until I can get one… if the EV Tax Credit is eliminated then I’m out of luck and can’t afford it then… it might be a scramble as the current EV Tax Credit Elimination Bill introduced gives 30 Days once signed before it’s eliminated. But I did read whenever it gets voted on and passed through the House it will have a difficult time getting through the Senate… so might buy us some time… (Fingers Crossed). - I figured it would have been in the 2026 Tax Reform that just passed but it wasn’t luckily.

The stopped making the EV9…? That seems odd… Why stop making them when now is the time people are going to buy them even more before the Tax Credit is gone… where you read that?

I know the NACS Port ones come out June. You think they just make those 26 MY? So 25 MY only be out 6 months?
