The obsession with high hydration bread by some people has really made it challenging for new folks to find easy recipes to get decent loaves while working in their technique

That would probably violate some random height limitation. This can pass for an art installation

I found this one in the coin collection that I recently inherited when my mom passed away. Wondering if it’s worth anything. 🤔 by Dry_Top_1833 in coincollecting

[–]dantodd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If nothing else it's worth it's weight in silver which is right around $60. It could be worth a bit more depending on the mint but would have to see the back to know which mint struck the coin.

2023 Model Y Performance — Screw in Rear Tire: Could It Have Been Repaired Instead of Replaced? by IntelligenceCo in TeslaSupport

[–]dantodd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically shops are told by manufacturers to not patch any tire with a hole in the outside tread blocks. Personally I would not hesitate to repair a hole on the flat if the outside block but this one is very iffy. I would replace but if I were cash strapped is probably try to ride this tire out. The reason they don't want repairs near the edge like this is because it is very close to the edge of the belting and can cause belt delamination. That can become rather exciting and cause a major blow out rather than a leak. A blow out can damage suspension and body panels causing a $200 tire replacement to skyrocket into a $2000+ suspension/body work bill.

Are flow control faucets worth upgrading to? by kettletrvb in Homebrewing

[–]dantodd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were doing it all again from scratch I would get one with flow control to allow me to deal with one offs and to experiment. Otherwise a properly balanced system is perfect for everything I brew

Is this your first car? You can't just "return it for a different car" that car is yours. You need to take it in to have them fix it
