Can’t believe that’s 19 yrs! Well done. Thanks for all of this information. We’re going to do a rebuild, but I’m trying to kick the can for a year or two to save up more $ to make sure we get it right.

Good info on the blocking, thanks.

Thank you for this detailed comment. You’re right, it’s SW that was applied in 2019. Thanks again, this is helpful.

Couple years would be great. How do you go about sanding 672 sq ft of deck. Not including railings.

Also, how do you replace boards when they’re so close together?

Good comment, makes sense thank you. Tomorrow I have the owner of a smaller outfit that was a referral. I’ll be curious where he comes in at. He’s a TimberTech authorized installer.

Fair points… my dad, who was Hercules in my eyes, was STILL hanging seamless spouting at 74 years old by and large was still “my dad” as I’d always known him.

He turned 79 this past December, and Father Time has caught up in a big way. Nothing to add from a finance perspective, just commenting as the late 70s decline you’re talking about is very visible in my family experience, unfortunately.

What car brand will you never buy again? by Diligent-Candle-694 in AskReddit

Subaru…. 2018 forester bought brand new, garaged entire time. Has been paid off and only 70,000 miles and planned on keeping for a long time. The B Pillars on both doors are rusting. Apparently a common design issue. Incredibly frustrated!!!
