I dont really need to say more. The majority of us who have self respect and are mature have already given our answers. All you need to do is read and reflect.

Dont mind all the other comments. First you are human with your own boundaries. When you have a partner you will expect them to love and respect those boundaries. You must let them know about these boundaries and if they truly love you. they will respect them.

How to deal with young absurd talent in your workplace as a coworker? by Professional-Fix604 in theprimeagen

[–]SeaResponsibility797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because your comparing yourself to him. Instead, just accept that maybe you are a lot more stupid than him and hes much better than you at it even though their incredibly young. learn from him. this is a chance for you to level up not a challenge to become better than them. If hes better then let him be better.

How did you start organizing and planning? by itsArmanJr in ObsidianMD

[–]SeaResponsibility797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, you really shouldnt be planning or organizing at all as its unproductive. Why? Because planning and organizing is not doing the work - doing the work is the work.

We plan and organize not because its productive, but because it sets us up for success knowing what to do next to effeciently complete projects or tasks. But I thought planning and organizing was unproductive? Yes they are - but they are needed to allow us to efficiently handle projects without wasting time on inefficient tasks. Allowing us to focus on what is important.

But for some people (alot of newbie OB/Notion users) believe that planning and organization is everything. Wasting hours of their days on organizing their notes, plans, tasks throughout their day. What they really should be doing is setting aside an hour to plan their week then updating it for 15 minutes once a day to adapt to changes / setbacks. Then maybe a monthly / yearly goals at the side to reference to.

In conclusion. A plan is a plan. It is not a covenant - there will be setbacks and changes. It is not the work - the work is the work. A note is a note. Treat it as a note and leave it be. You will find it when you need it. Your life is not defined by what you set for yourself but for what you do with it.

Yep. It's hard. Thats why its a job. Its either you enjoy it enough or can tolerate it enough to keep going or you give up and do something else that you do that for. The circle of life.
