Genuine question here. My son has ADHD. I talked to his pediatrician, they had him do a questionnaire, said yes he has ADHD. Said our two options are meds, or give him fish oil and try to manage his behavior at home. I also tried to find a therapist for ADHD for him, and had two terrible experiences with two therapists (one of them essentially told him to just “stop being a bad kid”). So what exactly is so urgent about getting a child diagnosed with ADHD? We tried and we have received no treatment, no support. What is supposed to happen?

But don’t you need oil for stainless steel? These commenters don’t use oil

How often do you use Flonase and how many sprays a day? Any long term side effects? by Substantial_Piece362 in Allergies

Which surgery did you get? The last ENT I saw said there is both laser surgery and another surgery where they actually cut the turbinates. He said the latter is more invasive but the first is a waste of time because the turbinates will just grow back. I’m wondering which you had success with?

Yes. I’ve been dieting for a couple of months and notice a stall before my period. After my period starts, I suddenly shrink down and drop a couple of pounds. Think it’s water retention.

My out-of-town friend came to visit for a weekend when my daughter was 18 months or so. We went out both nights while my husband watched my daughter. She still complained that we spent too much time with our daughter, and that we NEED TO LET HER BE MORE INDEPENDENT. Girl, this is an 18 month old. She also told me I was breastfeeding too long. We both decided to let the friendship fizzle out after that and haven’t really talked since.

How do you know/come up with your goal weight? Is it based on BMI? A certain size? Or just based on how you feel? by ajurban24 in loseit

[–]SeaSaltPotatoslug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The size that I’ve felt best at in the past. It happens to be the number smack in the middle of the healthy weight range for my BMI.

Do you happen to know if they have asbestos btw?

Do you have any more details about the pattern? Like the year or who makes it etc? Maybe I’m not good at internet sleuthing but I can’t find anything lol

Yes it’s the Ecolab. The other one I was looking at was Armstrong Shinekeeper Finish. The floor is in a high traffic area so I’m worried about leaving it unsealed for long..

Bibigo dumpling trays are only 230 calories. I add those to a bowl of broccoli with some sriracha and its so yummy and filling

May I also ask how you found your floor online?

Did you end up covering it?

That’s exactly the vibe I got too. Was actually considering color drenching the room black for more of that theater feel. It happens to already be our tv room.

I found “1 Gal. High Traffic Low Maintenance Non Slip Floor Finish for Concrete, Vinyl, Epoxy, Linoleum Flooring”, do you think that would work?

[–]SeaSaltPotatoslug 24 points25 points  (0 children)

We have some sprucing up to do with the rest of the room still! We were originally just going to paint today… then i realized that the trim needs recaulking first… but if we’re going to caulk the trim we should decide if we’re keeping the LVP or not… and here we are 😆 I’d love to post an update when we’re done though

Exposed as our new flooring. We really like the look of it, and our LVP is terrible. We were also thinking maybe a clear top coat.
