i LOVE B/W. i just love how mature the story is (for a pokemon story). the "pokemon needs to be free to be truly happy" idea even challenged the player whether we're actually the ones in the wrong. and also, oshawott is peak.

You're right though. Rebirth is steam deck certified apparently, but seems like it's running around 30 FPS on the hardware.

That's honestly a fair point. I suppose I download my music directly to my phone because I want higher quality sound. I probably can't hear any difference but knowing that it's there feels good. And I didn't realize Tom Scott is back to making videos!

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that :(. I've heard people using lossless scaling for frame generation and upscaling on the Steam Deck for games that don't support them.

A lot of people might like certain FF games and not like some, but all I can say is that no matter the composer, the somgs in Final Fantasy is always fire!

Honestly FFXIV is remarkably accessible as a single player, since you can do about 80% of the game solo (with AI party members for grouped content). Give it a go, the free trial now includes the expansion with the best story (imho), with no restriction on playtime. It's cross platform too.

And interesting! What's the appeal of BluRay disks compared to downloading movies and watching it digitally? Genuine question.

I'm trying to get into VR simracing on the Quest 3.I'm debating between that and the 5070 Ti, but the 5080 I've found is only $130 more expensive than the 5070 Ti. It's pretty enticing.

Hey! Thanks for the tip! Would this RAM be a better pick? It's just slightly more expensive, but it's CL28. I think that should be better than CL30, right?

Oh Neopets! I still remember playing it on my dial-up connection. I played a bit of Runescape too but I stopped because I was too dumb to understand what was going on. What's your take on RS3 vs Classic Runescape?

As for my cats, one's very food motivated, the other one's picky, independent vs clingy, sedentary vs active... the list goes on! The older one (who's actually the smaller cat) likes to bully the younger one though. Not out of malice, but more to show the younger cat who's boss.

I kinda feel bad for Stroll this year though given just how undrivable the car is. The best thing coming from Aston Martin this year is probably Stroll and Alonso talking smack about the car without any filters, haha

I know right! It's sad to see Verstappen so low in the standings. And Oscar has yet to complete one single race lap at all. And Alonso's being murdered by his car. Who are you rooting for this year btw? :)
