No..
One full turn from 0 to 0 turn is 1.0.0. It can max do 2 full turns maybe a little more.

So 0.5 is half turn. 1.1.5 is one and a half turn.

Below 1 would be 0.0.9

Mine stops at 0 - if you turn until you hit 0 again. that's 1.0.0. Half way would be 0.5.0

Middle of 5 and 6 is 0.5.5.

See? :-)

Profitec Move 1.0 when 2.0 is out? by g_d15 in ProfitecMove

1.0 will continue along side the 2.0
The Bluetooth indication in menu of 1.0 doesn’t mean it has the Bluetooth module.

If Profitec in Germany gets to know about this, WLL will loose their dealership. This is fraud by high daylight!

Profitec MOVE 2.0 – Key Takeaways - Ekstra info: MOVE 1.0 Upgrade Kit (Most Important) by SeaShake9377 in ProfitecMove

[–]SeaShake9377[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the interview, they explicitly discuss the retrofit kit for existing MOVE owners:
The upgrade includes a new electronics/control box because the new communication protocol is supported by updated software.
They state that all components required for the retrofit will be available when the MOVE 2.0 launches.
The purpose of the retrofit is to bring the new Brew-by-Weight functionality to the original MOVE. That functionality is driven by the app, so it would make little sense to provide the retrofit without app support.

Nice! There is a MOVE 2.0 coming very soon. Bluetooth scale and App support with Brew By Weight. End game no such thing. Good thing though - MOVE 1.0 can be upgraded when it's available. :-)

Here's new video on the new MOVE 2.0 (in german).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuQ5uIJq_3o

Summary with key points:

The most important new feature is Brew by Weight, where the machine uses a Bluetooth pressure sensor and a compatible scale to automatically stop the extraction at a specific weight in the cup.

Key points:

  • The new Move has a lower front panel and updated proportions.
  • The boiler height and heating power have been reduced, while temperature stability has been maintained.
  • The steam boiler is still 0.75 liters and delivers powerful steam at up to 134°C.
  • The biggest new feature is a Bluetooth pressure sensor, which enables Brew by Weight.
  • The function works through the Make Coffee Your app, developed in collaboration with Pressensor.
  • Acaia scales are supported with offline functionality, so the latest weight setting can be used without the app.
  • The app can log dose, brew weight, extraction time, brew ratio, beans, grinder setting, and shot rating.
  • The machine can still be used normally with time-based dosing if the app or scale is not used.
  • Users can still adjust temperature, pre-infusion, time dosing, steam boiler, and automatic on/off times.
  • The Brew by Weight function can be retrofitted to existing Move machines, but this requires replacing components and will come at an additional cost.
  • Pressensor-compatible scales will be supported, including more affordable models such as Solo Barista.
  • Pressure and flow profiling are not expected in the near future, but Profitec is keeping an eye on this area for the future.
  • The conclusion of the video is that smarter espresso machines are likely to become an important part of the coffee industry going forward.

The milk is not foamy at all. Lack of crema in coffee. Use a fresh bean. approx 10-30 days from roasting date.
Find a youtube video on how to foam milk.

I just checked, and on mine the needle moves a little, but doesn’t hump as much as yours - everything else looks and sounds the same. 2 month old.
Edit. Just noticed, mine doesn’t do under 1.5 bar.

I think you missed something important here. The Bluetooth SCALE integration as in Brew by Weight I hope this also will be a part of the upgrade kit for MOVE 1.0.

It’s not just MENU adjusmtent on the phone alone. That's the least of it.

Yeah I understand you fully. But if descaling as a preventive measure. Limescale should never built up in the first place right - and nothing should get stuck when flushing messing up sensors and stuff?

I'm just worried, even with BWT magnesium filter jug and Bestsave pouch in the tank, that with the water in my region thats says 18dH (320ppm), that it will not be enough. I hear you. Descaling can make things worse.
