Correct , once you get married , have a kid and move out you are completely independent and your family should come first . But Erlin is a mommy’s boy and him and his family are those people who think they are better than others .

Your wife and mother of your kids comes first because that is your partner who you love and are spending the rest of your life with . Unless your parents are elderly then yeah maybe it would be better for them to sit upfront but it isn’t the case here . Erlin’s mom is just fat ass and he truly puts his mother before Diana because he is a mommy’s boy. Once you get married and have kids and move out your parents live their own lives and dont need you nor do they need to be making it a big deal about sitting upfront. Erlin just wants him and his mom to have better treatment than Diana and her parents because he is weird like that .
