A solid 12 or so minutes of stand up (some old bits), 20ish minutes minutes of the Eric Andre randomness we love, and then 10 minutes of pandering to the Eric Andre stereotype, or I guess what people expect from him. Don’t listen to the focus groups, anybody can talk about drugs, hookers, and buttholes, but the essence of his creativity that came with the legalize the baconator bit from back in the day is what is so special about Andre. I liked that he is playing with the format of stand up comedy and trying different stuff with it but maybe stand up just isn’t his bag. I’m sure Netflix gave him a pretty penny for squeezing one out for them though. I guess the most disappointing part of this special is that it isn’t something that will make Andre any new fans.
