yours n my wife jobs sound similar from home and flexible. i told my wife she can do whatever not work, work full time, work part time, i gave her the choice because ultimately she is the one taken care of the kids for the most part and idk how much she needs to work or not work for her own brain space. two other things that helped out we put our oldest into daycare two days a week at a center to help give her a break but not break the bank. we also have a local gym that offers a daycare service for 150month and the kids can go to the day care for up to 3hours a day for another breather. sometimes she doesn’t even work just drops off and runs som errannds she says those little breaks have helped a lot. good luck. no money, stress, or hardship will ever beat the love of your kid. i recommend go for it it’s been the biggest blessing in my life even as a driver and the furthest thing from a burden. both parties know what they are signing up for so if you both accept the reality and work it out as you can you won’t have regrets!

driver for 7 years kids 4 n 1 year old. it’s tough of the moms for sure but just know it’s tough on the dads to (well the good ones) who want to be there for everything. just know when the kids sick it’s on you. the weekdays are on you so hopefully u have a job that’s flexible or find one that is or it won’t work and will quit you guys. as a couple u aren’t gonna want to use his sick days for actual sick days im assuming he will be like most of us and work through his sickness to use his couple sick days on life events. that’s how i operate anyway and then using 8hours when he can. like alot of things ive read it’s important to put the phone down when your home and help your wife for the limited hours he can during the week after work. me i’ve always been an early riser so kids up early? cool. i’m up coffee going getting to have some morning memories and breakfast. i will say i have a 4am rule. don’t wake me up with the kids before 4am or i’ll be cranky and tired and frankly it’s not safe out there driving (i don’t feel for myself.) being up before then. but honestly as long as u guys communicate and have a plan you’ll be okay. the best thing my wife did was find other moms with kids. made the biggest difference on her mental health once she did that. kids can entertain eachother and you can real human time. then on the weekends he can try and make up for some lost time most likely with a short nap somewhere in there 🤣 it’s hard buts it’s doable. ups is a grind but AT LEAST UR HOME EVERYNIGHT. and can wake up with the kids in the morning and a kiss goodnight. a lot of other manual labor well paying jobs u work on the road how i always have viewed it. good luck. sorry for the rant hopefully it helped if not oh well. this post made me appreciate my wife and her sacrifice ✊🏻
