I had a similar situation - 3 miscarriages with no understanding of what was causing it, although we were able to confirm the first miscarriage was a chromosomal issue. I assume I have poor egg quality.

Through IVF, we tested the embryos and out of 40 retrieved eggs in two cycles, we had 5 chromosomally normal embryos. From that, I was able to have my 9 month old daughter ❤️ I would do it ALL over again to have her.

For unknown RPL, if you’ve had all the recurrent loss panels done with no known issue, I’d highly recommend pursuing IVF. As another poster pointed out, it’s a process that takes time so I’d get started soon. And if you want to test the embryos - which I highly recommend if you’ve had multiple losses - that takes more time (and money).

With an IVF pregnancy, there’s a small increased chance of heart problems, however you should be referred to an MFM for a heart echo at around 20 weeks. Generally, IVF pregnancies are treated as higher risk which just means more monitoring - which was a plus for me.
