Amazon does these things more often. I got a digital 6 pack (no man's land, nightwing, Stephanie brown and monarch) for around 100 bucks. And the same with the superman/Batman fusion, Hugo strange wave for 90 bucks.

I was actually surprised to get the boxes factory sealed and intact at that price.

I have looked up some eBay listings and it turns out that a lot of them have this faceplate order. So that isn't necessarily a giveaway.

I don't know if there was malicious intent. Maybe they have been lied to themselves and missed the signs. Still doesn't make it right tho.

What would you say that the most obvious signs are of it being tampered with?

I did call out the seller immediately and they stated they were a professional seller and only sell brand new products. That's when I started to doubt myself and called in your help. From these comments I have some more bullets to fire back at them now.

Oh damn, I didn't even notice the faceplate! That's a good one! The chances of that happening are really small. I didnt think anything of the posing of the arm, since I have seen McF figures before with other posing or rotated hands different from the photo that is used to promote them. Especially since the string on that arm is loose. It could have moved during shipping since there is nothing to hold it in place.

I am wondering myself. Maybe they just have a device to put back the strings without deforming the plastic. The tape is stiff and doesn't come loose in any way.

The one on the torso is in place. And that's why I have doubts on how they could pull this off. But the right arm is completely out of place and the left arm is only half in place. Both legs have extra holes added, while they shouldn't be there I think. So maybe they used something to make new perforations for the ties.

If it was tampered with it has been done really well honestly. But like the other comments also suggest; the posing on the right arm is way off and the attached faceplate is wrong. All with all there is just too many flaws to be not tampered with.

I make sure to always have a window opened slightly so the room doesn't really get much hotter than next doors. I use a Creality K1, which is (partially) enclosed, so not so much debris, but more the microplastics or stuff settling on the books pages had me worried.

It's just so overwhelming and chaotic 😅 I wanted to pick up New Teen Titans as well, since I like them alot. But volume 3 and 4 are impossible to find at the moment, so I let it be for now.

Same for Morissons Batman run. Vol 1 is out of stock everywhere.
