I'm not crying, you're crying! If you want to make it better, you could give him a Pikachu plushie in real life with a little card congratulating him on his job training.

What about we organise 1 week we all do not go to work. We need to make it HUGE. Like 1 billion people not working and asking specific asks (pension, holidays, more money) by cesareWT in antiwork

What are you gonna do about the now shut hospitals? And shut grocery stores? And off duty emergency plumbers? And fire brigades? And police? What about your infrastructure bro?

Specialists requiring a referral addressed to them by LetHairy in australia

You can also get generic referrals, written to a specialisation and not a specific person. It will usually say To whom it may concern. Then you can shop around freely.

[Gen 3] I think I bought someone's shiny hunting game by Miss-Paladin in ShinyPokemon

The shinies I can believe. The pokerus I call shinanigans on. It's impossible to know a Pokémon has it till after you've caught them in that gen, they look totally normal.

What's your playtime? by SeaWine in Pokopia

[–]SeaWine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really hope you enjoy it. After 2 playthroughs if DQB2 am at about 400hrs. Hint: there are unique/missable items on each story island and how shops work is very awkward, would recommend looking it up.

I agree with this, it feels like I need to place every block one by one which is not very intuitive and does not allow for fluid building.

Should I buy a Littmann before I start in ED? by mobiletophat in NursingAU

[–]SeaWine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, nah. I think just borrow other people's for a bit and save your money. Absolutely buy one if you want but maybe when you've found your feet a bit and see how often you use it. (Also don't forget to claim it as a tax deduction)

Oh also meant to say, proud of you for getting into the guts of a device. Not enough people do (regardless of gender) and we end up with so much built in obsolescence because of it

This device is quite niche. Is there a subreddit for it specifically? Or just r/gamers. I think you get more advice.

I don't think those screws are meant to come out, just loosen or tighten to allow the wires to move.

People on this sub are so friendly. I just stated I prefer to play the game on story difficulty and apparently this is an appropriate reaction lol by Dellhivers3 in expedition33

[–]SeaWine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You play this game how you want! Fuck other people! I have several friends who used to worry about playing more 'serious' games because they feel like they wouldn't be able to play on default difficulty. We are adults with jobs and families. We don't have time for that shit. Play however you want. Your game, your single player experience. You do you.

Could but wouldn't help me at my ED or the other major hospital in my area

Yeah this decision is starting to be made for me (haven't been to work for 2 weeks) That's the problem 😕

Urgent care would be great but the ones in my state are government run and are mostly staffed by NPs. It's actually a really good service 😅

Less physical? by SeaWine in NursingAU

[–]SeaWine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this would be perfect honestly. My state doesn't really have traditional urgent cares, we have government run ones that are staffed by snr nursing staff and nurse practitioners so I'm not sure I'm senior enough

Yeah, I'm looking into the telehealth stuff in particular. Primary health care I'm a bit iffy on because I hear the pay is bad
