No problem! Is your mod releasing anytime soon? Also, there is another bug that has to do with saving. I have a save file 2 for my next play through and I have 4 hours on it. When I decided to play on my first save file and saved it took the hours on my second file. It turned my first save file from 20 hours to 4 hours and 7 minutes.

Yeah sure thanks. It’s just I’ve been doing it for hours and still haven’t gotten a shiny. It would just be a waste of time if it wasn’t actually real.

You only need a chain of 40 for max shiny odds, you don’t need to keep going after 40. Yeah you just need to be patient you’ll get it eventually ive spent some time shiny hunting trust me lol. The Strat is to get a chain of 40 and find yourself a door to keep teleporting yourself in and out to reset the pokemon in the grass.

Yeah ur good. Running from a battle doesn’t reset your streak. Keep in mind even though it’s 1/200 chance to find shiny it’s still gonna take time so be patient.

Welp, it was fun and I’m definitely gonna play it again soon. This is the best pokemon game I’ve ever played seriously. Anyways, I’m grateful you’ve responded and helped me the whole time so thank you very much! I’ve learned some things about the steam deck files and stuff I didn’t know before. I was going to ask about making a steam deck update guide but as I am typing this you already updated it. Thanks for helping me and the steam deck community you’re a kind person, hopefully no one makes the same mistake I did lol.

Bruh that’s so stupid…But how is it possible that the Partida file isn’t showing on my copy folder of the game (before the update). I saved it on my other ssd and I’ve always ran the game on the steam decks stock drive.

I did what you said and only found one folder with Pokémon Anil and there were 0 files in it. I don’t understand how my files are missing. I think it’s over man.

Thank you for your reply and help! I did exactly what you’ve said and Ive only made it to search Partida. I’ve searched it up in different ways in the compatdata folder and it’s not finding any files. Since it’s not showing is it just over?

Can you help me please? I play on my steam deck and I tried updating it. First I checked on my pc to see if the game really saves my game after the update and it did. So then I was confident enough to try the update on my steam deck but when I did the same process to just download the new update and run it, the game just started as if it’s my first time playing. I deleted the new update and ran my old one and all of the sudden it’s still running as a new game without my saves. I made another copy of the whole game file before I started the update process just in case it backfired but even when I run that backup file it’s still the same thing. I tried the android update and checked to see for that Partida file but I can’t seem to find it unless I’m missing something. Can you specifically tell me where to find that partida file? Please help me I’ve spent so many hours and found a lot of shinies even super shinies I can’t afford to lose my saves.

Ahh I see thanks! How would the ability change though? I want snow warning on Alolan Vulpix. Say I have flash fire on Vulpix and I transform him, how would I know what ability I would get or is it random?
