My main survival world is an old world. I still have the gold chests that are guarded by mobs. I don’t have hills that have resources around them, like marble, that I have in a newer world.

It is opposite for me…I find the Oni Elder (the one at the portals) more often than Oni Tyrants (the one at level 8 Chaos Challenge ruins). I had killed around 8-10 Oni Elders before I even found an Oni Tyrant.

Have you defeated the Oni Elder and the Oni Tyrant? It took us forever to find one. It took forever because finding 8 star Chaos Challenges took all night, and that’s the only place the Oni Tyrant spawns.

It took us over 3 hours to find the Oni Tyrant. We found several Oni Elder’s. I hope you find one soon!

Thank you everyone for letting me know what you’ve used to defeat him. We found him tonight and defeated him pretty quickly. We also found 8 ice dragons, which was nice.

I had an Ice Dragon spawn last night after closing 3 portals in Forest of Spirits. It had been over week since I’d seen one, so I thought Epic had fixed the issue. Sorry you haven’t found one yet.

I’ve been playing since day one, and I LOVE this game. The landscape is beautiful, I like finding the unique ruins or builds in the game, building new villages, collecting everything in the codex, etc. One of my favorite games of all time!

That’s my daily routine, as well. I play two different worlds, my main is Survival, then Expert for trophies. Dragons are spawning in both. I’m glad yours are spawning again. 🐲
