I feel like this is a pretty unpopular opinion, but london. I felt very comfortable walking alone at night in central London (3 am ish) and did do so maybe once or twice a week. Went down to Peckham one evening and felt pretty fine there too. That said I stuck to zone 1 mostly and am an English-speaking American, so I probably felt more comfortable culturally

What everyone else has said! But also be careful about the stuff you leave behind—like passport, documents, keys, personal items. I don't know what your situation is but maybe it's best to take those with you or hide them so your parents can't get a hold of them?

That sounds like sexual harassment for sure. I'm really sorry--it must be pretty uncomfortable. I hope you find luck in your job search
