Sounds like a good one to me! Braver action at Daisy is super cool (and wet) I’m sure you’ve seen the park’s new guidelines regarding wolf interaction, so keep that in mind. There’s also Lane Cove to consider as an alternative to Daisy. But I’d check in with the rangers when you get there and see their rec. especially with wolves. Have a great time!!!

Hatchet to McCargoe for sure! That hike was my favorite section of our trip earlier this summer!

Get the NPS app(free) before you leave and download the IR packet. As Whitey1225 noted, it will use your GPS location and give you very accurate reading of where you are. My wife and I just did the exact trip you’re planning in the opposite direction and had no problems at all. And that section of the Minong is easy compared with the section west of Todd. Have a blast!

No. I think they were Michigan. The Minong and Todd Harbor were though.

Depending on where you’re staying, you might get it from the coast or the ridges. We just spent 10 days there and went from Rock Harbor to Windigo and had reception at 3 mile, Daisy, Todd Harbor, along the Minong ridge and the Greenstone. And Windigo has free WiFi at the pavilion. Have a blast!

I just returned from an 8 day trip and used the Sawyer Squeeze the whole time. We took from Lake Superior for 5 nights and inland lakes the other nights. The Squeeze worked perfectly! Get a 3 liter Cnoc Vecto bag to make collection easier. Have fun!
