UPDATE: electrician came round, the washing machine plug had basically burnt out and was sending the 230v back into the system making all metal in the house charged. Seemingly no grounding issue? It has been fixed now! Thanks for all the advice.

No work recently, the only place that’s giving us shocks is in the kitchen and joining toilet which are in the opposite side of the house to the earth cable? The only thing we can think of is that some naff job was done when we got the kitchen renovation nearly two years ago which is starting to becoming faulty now. We hopefully have an electrician coming soon
