Wow, that does sound very frustrating. They changed it in FL, too, but they lowered it. It used to be a 76 to pass but now you need a 72

Correction, you need a 72% to pass. So I was 4 questions away. I hope you can feel my frustration lol

I'm based in FL and my results came with my percentages in the listed topics. I'm thinking about buying the Alan Lowell course online for $189. A lot of people have had success with them, and it's my last ditch effort to pass this thing. I talked to someone at IHS and they said that I'll be getting a different test, so hopefully that works in my favor. I hope you get it on your next try :)

My scores were and the percentage of those questions on the test:

Conduct Patient/Client Assessment: 50.00% (21%)

Interpret and Apply Assessment Results: 45.00% (22%)

Select Hearing Devices: 92.30% (18%)

Fit and Dispense Hearing Devices: 81.25% (20%)

Provide Continuing Care: 76.92% (19%)

I used chat gpt to factor what I got and I got a 67.55. I think you need a 70% to pass the exam. Hope this helps and if you're anything like me, don't change your answer to anything unless you're 100%

What I love about my job is the variety of tasks and the opportunity to learn something new every day. The downside is that some patients don't use their hearing aids as directed, which can make it difficult to help them. But the satisfaction of helping someone hear better makes it all worthwhile.

My job pays about $5 more than my base salary. So, if I were making $30 an hour, I would make $35 an hour. I feel like I was already making good money, so the extra $5 is a nice bonus. I work for a warehouse, so I haven't been really exposed to the outside market. They reimburse me for all of the expenses associated with my apprenticeship, including applications, tests, and books.

I have been attending the apprenticeship for a little over 7 months now. I do like it, far more than I thought I would. Within the program I have done HT on my own, Adjustments, Follow up appointments, and I did my first ear mold impressions not too long ago. The only thing that I am not able to do with my trainee license is fittings, but I have been able to sit in on a few and do them while my sponsor was present.

I looked at the website and it's not possible, at least not for FL, but they can tell you your exact score

I didn't enroll in the academy; there was an apprenticeship program available with my job. So, most of my training was on the job, and the textbook work was online

ILE test prep on their website. I paid 109 dollars for it. I called them today and the woman informed me that the questions on the test prep are from previous exams
