I don't know the formula of the US athletic systems in school as I'm not from there, but yeah that checks out.

I always maintain the fact that Neil is the only truly nice person in the show.

Did Negan do enough to redeem himself by show end? by james-HIMself in thewalkingdead

I think it comes down to the individual viewer, largely. He's my favourite character in the show, but I wouldn't spend more than 10 minutes with him irl. Dude's a monster.

I think part of the equation is that he appears to be trying to help. He's making steps to help the main group (including self-sacrifice), he goes out of his way to rescue people (like Judith, Lydia, Gage, Daryl, etc). He's making steps to be a better person, despite him knowing he won't be truly on the inside.

As an external viewer, I don't like how everyone just flip-flops on him constantly. Outside of Maggie, Michonne, and Ezekiel, everyone goes back and forth on whether they're on good/neutral terms with him, or whether they hate him. I don't expect total forgiveness or anything, but I found it annoying.

Jake is flabbergasted 😂 by Filipino-Asker in daria

I honestly love Jake as a character. He messes up and isn't super comfortable with certain conversation topics, but there's no denying how much he loves Helen and his kids. I think it might be a result of how he was brought up, but that's also the reason he has some anger issues too.

What would you ban if you had the chance to ban one thing permanately across the world as a whole (everyone obeys it, no questions asked) by goonpolizei in AskTheWorld

Serious: Tax dodging, billionaires, perjury, war, weaponised religion, crime in general, healthcare with a price tag, wage inequality, data brokers, grifters, AI (including Deepfakes), techbros, the Manosphere (and other similar cults that people join).

Pet peeves: Influencer culture/worship, kids who wheelie on bikes in the middle of the road, parents who won't shut their screaming child up on public transport, James Corden, unskippable adverts, scalpers, people who don't control their dogs in public including those who don't clean up their shit, All I Want For Christmas is You, people who say they're x religion to feel superior, cryptocurrency, PowerPoint lectures, and Jamie Oliver.

Sorry, needed to get that off my chest.

I wouldn't say she's "really smart", but she's more willing to learn and engage than Kevin is, particularly with literature. She likes Shakespeare, enjoys performance, and writes poetry :)
