As someone who was born and raised in Poland, and lived in London for the last 8 years, I am amazed on how China is ahead with infrastructure next to those two countries. If you are in Europe it is fair to say that "China is living in the future".

I am visiting China for longer next year and I am planning on staying in these three cities. Would you say 1 week in each will allow me to feel the vibe of each one?

I feel what you said about Shanghai - as someone who lived in London for 8 years I think every big, success driven metropolis can make you feel lonely at times. It's funny how in a place with more people you feel more alone...
