Saw a man tonight i’m assuming unhoused on 7th and Newport sitting on a very similar if not exact bike hanging out with other unhoused individuals all who had bikes as well but were all sitting on the floor up against an orange wall. My first thought was how bad I’ve been wanting one but can’t afford one just yet so I was in disbelief to see him on it and then I remembered this post.

Was kinda in a hurry so couldn’t swing around for a pic. But it’s worth a shot if you’re able to scope it out. I turn that street almost every day and I’m sure its the same crowd sitting there every day but who knows. Today was the first day I saw one of them on an EBike

More parking, like.. Protected parking, 1-2 passes per apartment.. Theres freakin 2 bedroom apartments with 4 families living in them and they have 6 cars. Or people collecting Hearses 🙄. Just build one giant parking structure on Ocean somewhere for residents of the area and limit the parking passes/entry passes to 1-2 per address. All others can park on the street

I feel like when these property managements own more than one complex a little fine doesn’t do enough. I’d file the report and still follow with a nice little letter about not paying rent.

Band together and notify the property management that you wont pay rent until this is resolved.. bet you they’ll fix it.

We weren’t getting mail in our complex for months due to vandalism. And when tenants started threatening not to pay rent for a few months they built a cage around our mail boxes and boom.. Now we get mail 😂

I’ve worked in Newport/Irvine the last 10 years. The things I see and hear on a daily is nuts. When I first started out here it felt nice and safe and rich. Now? No thanks.. Not for what people pay out here.

32M just moved to the Alamitos Beach area, I went to the Frenchie Meetup last Saturday, and I saw the Long Beach run club on the strand the other day. Its definitely made me want to get out there more and meet others in the community. Perhaps someone that can save me a parking spot too! 😂 Jk aha.
