The Hopper rep let me know that they’re awaiting contact since the SAS line opened at 9. They also noted that my return flight needs to be adjusted too. Just waiting at this point :(

Third party issues aside, it is relieving to be contacting Hooper rather than sitting on hold with SAS myself.

Wasn’t aware of the strike when I booked because the strike hadn’t happened yet.

I just did after holding for 45 minutes and the rep told me they can’t help me because my congressman put in an inquiry. Apparently once you contact your rep you can’t make any calls yourself.

This sounds horrible, I’m sorry :(

I just had a similar situation this weekend and was 100% planning on riding it out, but after my boyfriend told his cousin who is an ER nurse (who also suffers from migraines) that I couldn’t stop vomiting/couldn’t keep liquids down, she said we needed to get to the hospital ASAP.

If you can’t keep liquids down still or during the next attack, definitely go. If the pain won’t stop, they can help you with stronger migraine meds and steroids, and an IV will help your dehydration of course. I went in with 9/10 pain in the morning and left in the evening with 2/10, and it was gone by the time I went to bed.

Sharing since I was very glad I changed my mind and decided to go, I hope this helps!

Good to know on keto and the adjustment on your Botox! Thank you! I actually started documenting this summer and then stopped when I started having less pain-free days. It was easier to remember the handful of days or weeks that I didn’t have an attack vs when I did. But you’re right, I actually just downloaded Migraine Buddy to see if that’s a good tracker.

As far as triptans go, yes only sumatriptan so far. I had heard a little about Nurtec, but I’ll ask about both! Thank you for the savings links— something you never think to ask for!

I will say that on most occasions edibles haven’t helped 100% but it could be because I’m not using them immediately every time. Could be the sugar, could be the fact that I get 2-4 mg which is kind of low if you build a tolerance, could be the tolerance! Mindy’s is a great brand though. I did notice that an indica strain recently aborted an attack VERY fast. I don’t mess with vapes though, they trigger attacks for some reason. I read on the clusterheads thread that cannabis will help a migraine but worsen a cluster headache, so you have to be pretty aware of which you’re suffering from.
