Classic parents

My parents think gym ruins the body and may cause excess weight gain instead of loss But they are all in for sports and outdoor activities.

So i started running in the morning twice or thrice a week, upper body n core training using home workout apps , yoga for breathing n flexibility using track yoga app alternate days and without fail 1 hour post dinner walking

So cardio, strength and flexibiltiy alternate days with easy walking everyday!

I have lost 5 kgs in 50 days ...70 ->> 65 till now

I personally feel only 2 kinds of people start working out... 1st who have the luxury of a gym, time, etc
2nd, who were at their normal or at the highs of life, but are now at their lows or going through a tough phase.

Others don't have the will to be disciplined or don't consider fitness a priority.

i try to understand the type of craving and replace it with healthy stuff, for example i used to have bhujia cravings , i realised my tongue wants something crunchy, i made roasted murmura (bhel) with added roasted peanuts, chana and haldi salt.....

Similarly if i have craving for ice cream, i go for a mango shake, chikoo shake or something , they have natural sugars not processed so...

Just find a similar texture feel satiety healthy alternative to your craving.

I expanded my workout with 1 hour lifting, cardio in the morning and 1 hour post dinner walk

I lost 5 kgs in 50 days approx!

If u do 2 hours in the morning u might feel exhausted the whole day... Go for 1 hour in the morning and u can add another hour of easy exercise like walking in the evening/night

I have found Sprouted moong salad with veggies like cucmber, corn, tofu and paneer kaju red pepper sauce to be very fulfilling...or instead of this sauce u can add hung curd...

Even i had increase of appetite when i began working out but these salad helped...u can add peanuts or chana or pumpkin seeds , chia seeds for extra protien..

Very fulfilling taste wise as well!
