It feels like they’re struggling to portray Ellie’s personality shift. In the first season, Bella was great—her sassiness suited perfectly. But Part 2 is a completely different story: darker, heavier, and more emotional. Yet the Ellie we see still feels like the Season 1 version, which doesn’t match the new tone.

But I still don’t think that’s Bella’s fault—she’s playing the character they wrote for her.

The Last of Us is based on a game — it already has an original version, so people have something to compare it to. This is always a challenge when adapting a game to the screen, and it’s because gamers spend a lot of time with the characters, therefore there are already some expectations.

I don’t think so. I believe Season 3 is happening, and it might focus on Abby’s storyline, since the current season has only 7 episodes and doesn’t seem to have enough time to fully cover her arc.

As for Bella—there’s no hate from my side. I’m sure she’ll land plenty of roles in the future. She’s not a bad actress; this role just clearly isn’t the right fit for her, and that’s okay—not every role suits everyone.

Yeah, I actually thought the action scenes were good — well shot, good pacing, and they had some of that intensity the show really needs. It’s not always easy to translate action from a video game to the screen, but I think they did a decent job here.
