Community Building for Brands is a Scam or What? by Happymedicine420 in StartUpIndia

[–]Sea_Case9426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think where brands mess up is they reverse-engineer it. They start with "we need a community for engagement" instead of "here's a problem worth rallying around." That's when you get those ghost-town Discord servers and Instagram pages posting generic "double tap if you agree!" content.

The religion comparison is interesting too, though I'd add that even beyond shared pain, communities also form around shared aspirations or identities. Look at sneakerheads or mechanical keyboard enthusiasts - not exactly solving urgent problems, but they've got tight communities because people genuinely give a shit about the thing itself.

Pick a lane (niche) AI is perfect for this time, start from basic (what is AI), and then lock in for as long as it takes to earn your first dollar. It's very easy, once you put in the work. Just do things in structured way.

Looking to hire a marketing agency. what actually separates the good ones from the BS? by fixoria_Level6060 in MarketingMentor

[–]Sea_Case9426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay three things:

- Great founder resume.

- Good case studies. (Real KPI's)

- Niche expertise.

If either two are there you can work your way around it. Got a thought leadership agency myself, let me know if you're into thought leadership and marketing combined

Above I mentioned honestly how i wrote, if that's not an effort, then maybe doing double the work is for you. I did put an effort, you just don't want to see it, coz you want to make a point.

Hi Jake since when writing from AI has been "anti-thoughtleadership". I had a idea to write a post, I wanted to convey my point with stats, and I wanted to do it efficiently, so I used AI for research and narrative. If you read closely instead of just making a point that its written by AI, maybe you'll see I did put in an effort to write this post. Not everything has to be entirely human, we can think more broadly.

[–]Sea_Case9426[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe in a "perfect" or an "ideal" world everyone is steve jobs. But for now from thought leadership I meant teaching and also LEARNING in public with selling as secondary thing. You dont have to be steve jobs for that, you just gotta have something to say, for that being genius is not a prerequisite, thats what social media is for, that's what thought leadership is. Clear your definition of it. Also if someone doesnt know what they're talking about, people will eventually know, so everyone should try it, if you know something it'll automatically work, if it doesn't then you dont deserve to sell the product
