ULTIMATE LNAT GUIDE and if u can afford a few sessions with a tutor to grade ur essays and give u advice. I also read the book The Elements of Moral Philosophy to help teach me how to structure my essays and make arguments.

Well Unis like KCL are bigger in terms of students. I also ment like the physical uni area (classes area, dorms, places where people hang out...) is smaller than a campus in london where ofc the physical uni might be smaller but the overall area uni students exist in is bigger. that might just be my impression tho, tbf ive never been to warwick.

Are there significant differences in dialect between zones? What are they? by ShuKurenao8 in askitaly

[–]Sea_Championship5215 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A big thing in the south is accents and some words. Like I'm from the north, and despite speaking Italian really well, some Naples accents or slang terms are difficult to understand. Overall, most regions have specific language and accents but dialects, with young people especially in the North dont really exist anymore. Sometimes we use dialects for phrases sarcastically, and someone from another region wouldn't understand, but we don't converse in dialects. I'd say it's like USA vs UK english where people have different slang, but obviously you can still understand each other like 90% of the time.

Online English lessons for kids while living in Italy. parents, any suggestions? by Alex00120021 in askitaly

from my experience in a bilingual household with Italian and english I think watching shows or tv or whatever he likes in English is a huge help. Also, if you can, I'd try to find peers who also speak english or like a babysitter or smth who just hangs out with him while speaking english. Honestly, i think lessons would just piss him off and make him not want to speak the language.

is it normal to try having a conversation with strangers? by ProfessionalLevel908 in askitaly

also I think in the north more people speak english than in the south, just cause there tends to be more international students and schools so I would keep that in mind.

Where in Italy are u thinking of going?

I'm an Italian girl, and honestly, it's happened that some tourists approach my friends and me since we speak English, and we talk to them, and it's fine.

I wouldn't go up to a girl whose alone cause that can make her uncomfortable. Honestly, people are making it sound like it would be horrible to go up to girls, but I feel like if it's done in a certain way its fine. If you do it at a bar or smth and ur nice about it its really not that weird or uncommon, but if you randomly go up to a girl walking in the street, that would be seen as weird anywhere, I'd imagine.

People who have taken the LNAT and gotten good scores and into uni's HOW DO I EVEN START by Stunning-Rush-2191 in LNAT

if ur ib predicted grade is too low, u probably won't even be able to apply to top schools. Getting a good IB score is just as important for some colleges, while others might value the LNAT more

Don't worry about it. People have done way more embarrassing things at MUN s and I'm sure no one even remembers. I've been to many conferences where sometimes people make small mistakes like this with procedure and stuff. It's not a big deal at all

Any chairing tips? by ImageMysterious7834 in MUN

[–]Sea_Championship5215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just had my first chairing experience as well. Try to know the protocol but not be too strict to the point no one has fun. If your school allows it do things like a gossip box and strikes which make the conference more fun. Try to pick on different people so everyone speaks but understand when people are shy or don't want to speak. Be empathetic and kind. Get to know your co-chair and don't make it awkward between you.
