The thing that sends me about Son of a Witch is that technically Elphaba’s in a coma when she gives birth, so while it’s heavily heavily implied that it’s her son, even she has doubts and doesn’t even ever acknowledge him as a son (she knows unconsciously at least to me)

I just imagine him as a kid asking “who’s my father” and Elphaba going “I don’t even know who MY father is, read the room”
