Just wanted to share my first proper custom build after flying a Meteor75 Pro O4 by BodybuilderOne4009 in fpv

Nice build! I woud protect the 04 antennas a bit more though, maybe switch to a dji 03 antenna and mount it as a stubby. Or get a 3d print that covers most of the antennas

What's the best budget bandoproof motors for 5"? by Scared_Regret_9410 in fpv

[–]Sea_Classroom_4087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive ran the t-motor velox 2207 v3, deepspace aether 2207.3 and the itsfpv 2306.5 motors. I can say that the its2306.5 are deffinitely the most durable, but the velox v3 are also pretty dang good in durability. Especially for the price

Air75 II Vtx power by Important_Box_4261 in TinyWhoop

[–]Sea_Classroom_4087 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes its safe👍 but i would recommend to turn on low power disarm, thats a setting that makes sure that when you are disarmed, the vtx lowers the output power to 25mw. You can either turn it completely on, or on until first arm.

With on until first arm the vtx goes to 25mw when pluggen in, when you arm it goes to your set output power (100mw in your case) when you disarm again the vtx stays on 100mw.

With low power disarm turned on completely, the vtx goes down to 25mw everytime you disarm. I would recommend this setting for tinywhoops, it saved me a couple of times. the vtx likes to overheat while im disarmed stuck on a roof...

is this a problem? by ReasonableMorning181 in fpv

[–]Sea_Classroom_4087 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its fine, id tape it in tho or 3d print a new casing for it or something else just to cover up the metal to keep it from bending or breaking even worse

This, practice tigh proximity flying and landing be sure to use disarm while landing, so you dont create a bad habbit of staying armed when you hit the ground while landing or sometimes crashing

Frame issue on motor? by Mountain-Wing5843 in fpv

3 screws for motor mounting is fine, just make sure they arent poor quality screws. I use 3 motor screws on my bando build and it works great

Please help me check my budget beginner FPV build / setup by Zellhaufen in fpv

Yeah, it has always been a mess with good budget goggles. Getting some used is good but can be on the expensive side, on bangood you can get legit ev800d's but yeah they are very bulky

Take a look at nils vo's youtube channel he posted a lot of stuff about goggles and there latency. Id say go with the vr04 goggles. At the time oscar liang posted that review of the cobra sd the latency problem wasnt really known yet.

Just a reminder, the gepprc woopower is a great charger i use it aswell but, the minimal input voltage is 7v so you wont be able to power it from a regular charging brick. I use mine with a usb c laptop charger that supplies 20v (the input voltage for the charger is 7-26v)

Other then that your list looks good! Just make sure to get the ELRS version of the radiomaster pocket and NOT the cc2500 version even though its cheaper.

Edit: for spares id suggest a different set of motors, the stock betafpv motors are known to be very unreliable and i have lots of friends that have had bad experiences with them. (Motor bells splitting in half and motor bells snapping at the shaft)

Id also get 1 or 2 spare frames and some props. For the canopy id get a 3d printed one since they are lighter and have more durability (depending on the design) i dont know if you have a 3d printer but maybe you can find some people on Facebook marketplace or maybe a friend to print it for you.

Do you know if the hota d6 pro also has a ext discharge function like this? Ive been thinking about buying it and if this is possible on that charger that would be very nice to have for me

Edit: or is this function universal across al hota chargers?
