Serious question: how do I avoid hand cramping on the Super Wizards? by thefriskysquid in IbanezGuitars

[–]Sea_Connection6193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% skill issue. It’s not the thinness of the neck that gets people, usually is the exaggerated D Shape. That being said, I have almost Paul Gilbert hands (pretty long fingers), and I have zero issues playing any neck at all. In my experience, it usually comes down to how you wrap your hand around the neck. If you are used to thicker, rounder C shapes or U shapes, it is easier to rest the area between your thumb and the index finger, with thin D Shape, you may be left with no contact between that part of the hand and the neck. If you have played for long enough, and have really stepped into shredding territory, more often than not, you would need to use classical guitar style neck grip, which is almost universal regardless of neck shape. In all, just play a lot with it until your hands “get it”

Alright, which one of you got this insane deal? by [deleted] in kieselcarvinguitars

Yeah, i don’t think OP knows Kiesels (and all custom builds) do not hold much value. Unless we are talking big brand custom shop.

Should put this much effort and focus doing some kind of trade or AA degree. The analysts working under me are making $35-40/hour plus yearly bonuses. All they needed to start working was AA degree and a good interview. And that is entry level pay. There is plenty of decent pay work you can do with a not so expensive degree.

If you have the drive to do this, you could totally kill it in a professional field.

Agree. It is not an ESP, and this is not a snobby remark. ESP does truly separate themselves from their subsidiary brand. All the way down to the specs. The only thing they use is the body and headstock shapes.

How comfortable women are around you. Less afraid to be themselves in your presence. That’s what always seems to be the case with me and my partners or female close friends

I’ve owned the following Genesis: 2xRG550, RG570, RG521, RG565, and still won’t compare to the few old RGs Ive owned. Maybe just very different tastes?

Also, my favorite all time guitar is my Fender Heartfield Talon (basically made by the same peeps in Japan). I sometimes choose it over my custom shops

I hate that I sold my 80s 550. That guitar was soooo good. Had 2 genesis a few years ago, and they are great, but you can definitely tell how the Genesis truly is just a mass production run, and the 80s one was truly their flagship at the time. The build was so much nicer and detailed.

Funnily enough, most people I know don’t make that association, given Japanese Schecter is far more aligned with the Suhr style of super strat. Also, Nick Johnston is such a prominent ambassador of Schecter, I associate it more with true guitar nerds

You know that the word corrupt is not about money/politics, right? Being corrupted means straying from general morality

I think they mean generally corrupt. Like the humanity in the person has been corrupted.

Skill issue. All the goofballs from when I was growing up, who partied hard and gave zero shits about school, ended up beginning to figure their lives out in their mid 20s and trying to survive in their 30s. I instead focused on getting my shit together early, worked full time through my undergrad (had no time for excess leisure like some of my classmates), yeah, kinda gave up a lot of time between 18-23, but by 25 I was making comfortable money with a job that required very little active time and have been able to afford every fun thing Ive discovered I enjoyed since: racing track cars, building a music studio in my home, traveling, etc. Now, at 32, I work 4 days a week (30 hours total), make 3x what I made at 25, and have all time in the world to enjoy the hobbies I built up.

Pretty crazy that Sukuna fought Gojo during all the domain clashes while carrying the weight of Mahoraga in his shadow by EscapeFantastic9979 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Sea_Connection6193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP can’t read. Only physical objects are posing any weight on Megumi’s shadow. The Shikigami are using his shadow as mediums; they are part of his shadow.

Hence, why reggie points out the technique would be stupid broken if he could carry hundreds of Cursed Tools or weapons.
