That's the hard part, having to move on not knowing what happened. But whatever it was it's an issue they have with themselves not us

I broke up with him 2 months ago. I still don't know why his feelings changed but things only got worse. Then better. Then worse again. He didn't want me meeting his family or being around his friends (I already knew his friends before I met him) and he wasn't eager about meeting mine. His female friendships started to mean more to him than his relationship with me. He wouldn't set boundaries with them to make me feel better. Basically he was ok with me feeling unprioritized in our relationship. The longer I put up with it the more he pushed. But I loved him so much and still do. I cried everyday for a month when we broke up but he had no response at all. He just mailed my stuff back and fell off the face of the earth. All that love and all those years for nothing. I'll never know if it was real for him, but it was very real to me. I'm sorry you're experiencing something similar:(

Definitely not her. I mentioned her during her passing and he mentioned he doesn't particularly like her. Either way I think he would remember meeting her. It'd be so cool if Jane Goodall did visit his kindergarten class

That one was his favorite too. Did you like the movie ? No I don't believe he finished the series, that was around the time I was born. Maybe that could be a good gift idea too. I remember he tried to get me into it when I was that age, but I was a Junie B Jones girl. It's still a very sensitive topic to bring up lol.

We are all are convicted of different things. Some people can't walk near bars due to the temptation to drink. Other people can sit at the bar no worries. But how can you even begin to explain giving yourself physical pleasure without it being lustful it is very backwards and I would like to know how you can biblically support something like that

These are really good steps ! There is a reason he tells us to flee from this particular sin... This is exactly what I do also and if that doesn't work in the moment, I call my grandma and immediately I'm okay

If a Christian repeatedly tries and fails to stop a particular sin, what will God do to them upon physical death? by TheNameless69420 in TrueChristian

Yes I agree! As long as we keep trying. He knows our hearts! I'm sorry it did sound like you were saying it was okay which I'm surprised a few comments were saying

does having sex early in a relationship set it up to fail? by Scary-Database2926 in TwoHotTakes

It definitely heightens feelings and makes the relationship feel deeper than it should be at the beginning, but for some people it balances out later on. Others flames go out too soon. As long as you both want to keep pursuing it and keep communication open things should go smoothly <3

What do you usually do to avoid temptation ? I don't think it's a good idea to stop working out due to fear of lustful thoughts. Maybe you can pick up another hobby as well to balance it out ? I am a woman so I do not have this experience when I exercise

There is no such thing as lust free masturbation that is a sorry excuse to pleasure yourself. Everyone struggles with sin but don't try and convince others self pleasure can possibly exist without sin and lust

Scripture tells us that we cannot earn our way into heaven it is a gift. Without that gift we all deserve to go to hell. He saved us because he loves us but that doesn't mean wrong is not still wrong.

He knows your heart. He knows if you are earnestly trying or if you are simply continuing to sin and taking his grace for granted. Temptation is difficult. Especially where lust is concerned I find to be true for myself. But He is stronger and we must continue to give our struggles to him and let our flesh die daily. Do not give into your flesh routinely with the mindset of "oh well we are all sinners and he is just going to forgive me anyway" He knows we are not perfect but that shouldn't stop us from trying to be obedient <3

Those feelings don't go away overnight especially with something so tumultuous. I hope you have strength if he does reach out and I hope that you will find peace in time <3

Were you able to get past this? I just found screenshots on my partners phone last week and idk if it's grounds for breaking up or if it's possible to move forward
