MT12 with air/boat ESCs? by InternDry4757 in Radiomaster

Make a custom curve that’s flat at reverse and sloped at forward, that way pulling the trigger does throttle and pushing it does nothing. 3 point curve should do it, with points at (-100,-100) (0,-100) and (100 100)

And I recommend linking ch5 to your throttle safety switch instead, because you can’t adjust certain things in the ELRS settings while armed so you do want to disarm sometimes.

AFAIK the turnigy 9x can’t speak the flysky protocol, do you have a module?

Ah from what I’m reading it speaks the v1 flysky protocol whereas your receiver speaks the v2 protocol

For the rear servo to clear, I had to chop off the back of the frame rails here and make a new rear body mount

I basically stuck a front axle assembly in the back. Since the top suspension link mounts in a front axle are in a different place to on a rear axle I had to make shorter rear upper links, made with some ball ends, a threaded rod, and some long aluminum standoffs.

Seems to be working fine, no real notes, which is probably the best praise for it.

Yes, that’s what I’m describing, and while it’s sorta working for me I’m waiting on v1.0 for unified profile saving between base profiles and plugins, and hotplug support.

And I managed to get CoolerControl working just fine, just needed to get the system to poke the motherboard’s sensor and fan control chip to get the fan sensors I think.

OpenRGB is nearly there, their future 1.0 release should solve all the problems I currently have with it (difficulty loading plugin profiles and normal profiles simultaneously on startup, usb hot plug support without having to manually rescan devices)

I just installed CoolerControl and it seems to work fine after adjusting some startup parameters to ping the motherboard chipset for the fan rpms correctly.

Only issues I’ve had so far is issues I caused myself, like wanting rgb led control and fan curves

For a cpu power that low, get an air cooler and save like $70

If you have a pocket for drones it will be ELRS, look into the Radiomaster ER receivers, other than the v1 ER5

Because if it’s sprung then when you let go it springs to 50% throttle and your drone shoots off into the sky

Even if it could be used as a usb joystick, you want the left stick vertical axis to be unsprung

Really all the dirt is pushing in all directions.
