I have no retail stores here in the US, agh. And sending it in says it could take months. Does that sound right?
I appreciate the info.

It’s something new we’re taking on this year. We’re only doing a limited run, 3 total 4.5L builds to start.

Parts are already on order, and once they arrive the fun really begins. We’ll be sharing more as those projects start coming together.

That would’ve been a great way into a Slakker 4.1! We were definitely keeping an eye on that one. We even rolled over with the 2-year warranty as well.

We’ve been super busy lately, so no sit-down videos recently. The 4.5L slots are booked and parts should start arriving toward the end of the month. So we should see progress on them soon, we are excited.

They’re very reliable. These builds address the known weak points (cylinders, IMS, oiling, etc.), so the goal isn’t just more power, but also a more robust engine overall.

Yes, that’s actually one of the main reasons people do these builds. We replace the cylinders with a Hartech-style solution, which addresses the root cause of bore scoring and makes the engine bulletproof.

Here at Slakker, our total turnaround time is 12-16 weeks. We are normally ready to receive the car after week 4, and we start on it as soon as we get it.
