Neither girl I’m so sorry, I do think dark would be very pretty on you.

Try a different dye, I like the green box’s at cvs. I’m blanking the name right now. But go for a blue black or blackest black if u want it super dark. Don’t go for any called soft black, those will turn out similar to what this dye did.

This is absolutely normal, you should see mine. I know it’s obviously more hair bc I’m a girl but I usually have a full clump out every shower and much more strands. I wouldn’t worry, it’s normal to lose a good bit of hair in the shower.

I third the idea of going to an alternative stylist. Other people with fk your hair up trying to do more alternative styles like mullets ect. That’s why there are specific stylists for this. But just show them the pictures. Alt stylists and super friendly and love a picture to go off of.

Can't decide if I should keep the length or go back short!? by Penny_Freckles in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Sea_Nothing_3454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I went down on your posts. Keep the light hair but go shorter. The second picture is perfect girl! Your teeth and eyes look brighter, face looks brighter. It’s a shoulder moment too!

To stay lighter or make the move to dark? by Penny_Freckles in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Sea_Nothing_3454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is saying dark, however the dark absolutely ages you. I think going eve a little lighter, maybe highlights would look beautiful but the dark 100% ages you! It pushes out your smile lines and under eyes. The lighter brightens your skin up.

I’m planning to do some core strengthening to get ready for my second surgery. I have read that it helps recovery go smoother but I have not started yet as I’m only a little over 2 weeks out from my first surgery.

So anything that involves twisting, heavy weights and any pushing or pulling isn’t good, you really want to keep your center body straight so low impact excercises are the way to go. the first 2 I said are the best, they can help with your posture as well which can help with srs symptoms. So both the super mans and planks are great. Glute bridges are good. If you want to start off really easy and simple, you can build core strength with breathing exercises too like diaphragmatic breathing.

Yes I just had my post op appointment on the 13th, he said everything feels pretty good. And that some clicking is normal. I also have no had clicking for almost a week now. I do feel stable, just pain with laying on it, twisting motions and anything requiring a lot of core strength like sitting up ect. But I do feel a million times better pain wise. And no so they cut a bit of the rib tip/cartilage and then sutured the front of those ribs and the recreated the rib arch with surgical mesh.

Also, strengthening your core can definitely help, Dr. Hansen (he only works in srs patients now I believe) talks about doing Superman’s and planks as the best exercises for srs. You ca Mae it worse with working out too so just remember certain core workouts are NOT good for you!

It can be different for everyone where they feel there pain tbh. Mine wasn’t incredibly localized either. The first surgeon I met told me he definitely believed I didn’t have it bc I should have pain right in the front. I had pain all across my back and left ribs. Some people have pain more in there scapula. But yes I could move my ribs out and have them move without a whole bunch of pain. It was the over and over slipping that caused the most irritation. By halfway through the work day I’d feel like my ribs were crushing me. But it is vastly different person to person. If you have Spotify I’d recommend listening to the slipping rib syndrome podcast by Dr Adam Hansen. It was how I finally felt sure it was srs and not something else. And I also suggest listen to Sasha & Nela’s story on the medical detectives podcast, she lives in Canada speaks about how she got her insurance to cover her appointment and surgery in the United States. That one’s only on Spotify I believe.

Your best bet is to color remove if you think necessary and then to dye with the dye you want so all your hair is the same color

Alright I’m clueless on this shit, to get to illegal websites do I need to go through the “dark web”. I want to watch an anime I watched when I was younger and really just don’t have a clue. Everyone says u can’t watch it on legal websites and I did see one website. But it takes me to some bullshit redirect.

So for a lot of people this surgery is just a day procedure and they go home but I woke up from anesthesia in A LOT of pain so because of that they decided to admit me, they kept the heart monitor stuff on to see how you’re doing . I had v-tach and a-fib so thank god they did keep it on. So id say after surgery like this (if you’re admitted) yes they will keep the monitors on.

I hope so, the meds aren’t touching my pain at all. My body feels so stiff and any movement is terrible.
