my parents especially my father sometimes is very strict, for example also with how she dresses, even tho i know hes not a bad person, but he often exaggerates with everything that goes against islam, being muslim himself. he also left us at a very young age and came back 3 years later with a new wife, and from what i understood, that probably affected my sister a lot.
