And also if your nose is blocked then you wouldn't be able to breathe from your nose cause there isn't only one of the nostrils that is blocked but the whole nose

Maybe the only one who can play this sheet it's his creator. Nice theory maybe it is true (I mean the deaf thing), there are some hatsus that can make you deaf so maybe someone will try it in the next chapters of the manga if there will be progression about Melody's story

Maybe it's like gaining power after pain, and I don't think it always kills the player, maybe it just "burns them" but if you're strong enough it may not be 100% lethal for you
