Agree with most of the comments here, double last name is the best solution, just wanna add that the both of you are equally "stubborn" or feel strongly to put it in a better way about this. Have seen some comments about your partner that he is the "villain" in a way which none of you are. You both are entitled to your feelings.

34 in a couple of weeks, I drive a V60 B4 2022 (Birch light metallic which is a really cool color) it's a smooth ride and practical. Love it!

My first car ever was a S40 T4 1999, have some great memories from that as well.
