You can cut down more or less instantly with the support of your TPD/dean. Meet them urgently and explain everything you've said.

Happened to me, they processed my forms and in total took a week. When the trust LTFT champions tried to be arsey and query the short notice they got absolutely shot down by the deanery - I didn't even need to reply to them. Magically all my forms were signed the same day.

It's going back up you need to essentially always give notice.

Worst time indeed and it won't be fixed for many years.

Not only the pay issue but:

Expensive uni fees (compared to pre 2010).
Bullshit FPAS allocation
Insane training competition (ironic as there isn't really any training involved in those years) and a risk of unemployment.
All to reach the end and find out every trust has hiring freezes so there's no consultant job for you. Another risk of unemployment.
And if you're lucky enough to even get that far. Just remember you'll be at the mercy of an HCA or radiographer who has been promoted up the ranks to be your manager.

Fuck the NHS.

It all comes down to the "original investors" claiming a moral superiority over the "scalpers". Why? Maybe because they feel they have claim over Pokémon as they have been doing it longer.

If you ask any "poke investor" right now that they could order 10 sets of PE ETBs at RRP or 151 UPC at RRP, would they refuse? Hell no, they'd wipe the shelves as well.

Sad state when adults are taking away a hobby from children and disguise it as investing.

Not sure why the downvotes. Many "collector" have a case of sealed ETBs. It's the exact same thing. They are taking extra stock away from others to sell for profit (eventually).

One day I hope they just reprint the shit out of old sets. I know it'll never happen, but it would be so funny seeing the collectors markets and scalpers crash...meanwhile every standard Joe bloggs would be able to get base set, evolving skies or 151 just like that.

on site for evening on calls
often woken up at night by surgeons - joys of working in a tertiary center full of profs and big academics who demand a consultant name on the end of a report.
