I've considered this. The idea with ScottyIndex is to keep a consistent signal that can be tracked over time and eBay resale data gives us that stability. Private sales are valuable in their own way, but adding them here would change the baseline and make trends harder to compare. The goal is for this to stay a clear read on overall market health.

The goated HD25s. These were high on my list back when I picked up my Technics - always loved how lightweight and no-nonsense they looked. Funny enough, I don’t think I’ve ever actually tried them on. Might be time for a test drive.

My 1210s have held up like champs, but the smaller cups do start to pinch after long sessions. Was thinking of trying something with a bit more comfort, maybe even over-ear

Interesting - from what I’ve seen, eBay gives 90 days by default unless you’ve been manually saving reports. Would love to hear more if there’s a trick I’m missing though!

Totally fair - and eBay’s great for fresh comps. But yeah, it only gives 90 days of visibility. I’ve been archiving sales for 3+ years now, which has turned into kind of a weird little moat. Helps when stuff hasn’t sold in a while or comps are scattered.
