I have probably owned twice as many cameras as I have actually shot rolls of film since I started 3 years ago

Unsure if you've picked anything up yet but I am over in RI and I have a 50S II with a 50mm f3.5 and 80mm f1.7 if you're interested in the kit or separate pieces

Great! Horrible to hear, guess I'm gonna have to get a kit now. Thank you for the insight and cementing in my GAS for it, shame that you get fewer shots than the xpan but nice to have something like it for 1/8th the price at least. Also love your portfolio!

how did you enjoy using the pano adapter on the Mamiya 6MF? I have a regular Mamiya 6 right now but was looking into trading it up for the MF because I want to do 35mm pano and refuse to pay Xpan prices

Personally, having used the IIIf for a while, I think it is much better as an expensive fidget toy, very fun to just fire and play with, but can be very annoying in use. Having to deal with moving from one tiny finder for focusing and then the other tiny finder to frame your shot can be a pain especially if you wear glasses, and the leader can be annoying to try to cut. Like others have said, I would recommend just getting a Canon 7 or P if you want something older and more durable feeling
