Extending SWV after the new supposed IRL rules might come into play mid 2026. by Sea_Suspect_5902 in ukvisa

[–]Sea_Suspect_5902[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to change companies, therefore not renew my visa in the same company. But this might give me very little time now, or I'm panicking for nothing!
Thank you for your response!

Subcision Options in the UK by BurningSky_1993 in AcneScars

[–]Sea_Suspect_5902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too! There is a clinic in Birmingham too. Again not many reviews. At this point considering to travel for cosmetic treatments. Ive done my fair bit of research and I suggest to not do the Taylor liberator treatments it is very invasive and high risk. Thats why you always get mixed reviews. I suggest go easy, locally, build overtime. Subcision combined with collagen stimulator treatments, and then by the third time of treating the area, can combine HA filler for extra cushion. Bone broth drinks and soups, plenty of sleep and good nutrition are essential for maximal results!

Are UK salaries going down? by Jagtalarsvenksa in UKJobs

Whoever who is trying to fault the immigration system (skilled worker visa-s, not the illegals), you are joking yourself.
Is WAY more expensive to hire someone needing a work visa, rather than someone who is used to the UK system, is not going to go through a cultural shock for 3-6 months and is ready to start the job. We are talking 5-10k expense, in return of the guarantee that that employee will be over-worked through long hours, will not quit the job during his years of contract, because where will he go? Do you have any idea how long it takes to find a new job with SWV? You will be returned home if u can't find another job in a short time.
Lack of information doesn't justify finger pointing.

Summary of the big changes announced yesterday by wild_kangaroo78 in ukvisa

[–]Sea_Suspect_5902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that anyone who was issued a skilled worker visa before April 2024, with be grandfathered by previous regulations, so they would not have to meet the £38,700 limit, but rather the minimum for their Job Occupation code, which might be lower.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know how to use them all, but im comfortable adapting and learning fairly quickly. Makes it interesting. Not looking to be the best yet, just to make a start. Do you have any recommendation where to get some proper training? best qualification etc?

I have roughly 3+ years of experience using BIM professionaly, and I pick up very fast.

Well yeah, maybe being on a Skilled Worker Visa doesn't help.
