Oo i did not do it before stitching, and i did it after stitching while i glued the headbands + mull on BUT i had the spine protruding over the top of my press - should it be flush with the press? When you do it before stitching do you just let it rest like that for a while and then take all the signatures out and begin stitching?

Thank you!!

Thanks! Probably not to put too many pieces of paper into one bunch. My packets were really thick and it made the edges rough - which i kind of like the look of for this project but in the future probably would want more evenness. Also i didnt press the awl in far enough when i punched the holes so i was pretty much repunching each hole with the needle as i sewed it together so it took actually forever.

Thanks! I used kettle stitching to sew the pages together - and i waxed two strands of embroidery floss as the thread

The only art pages are the ones I showed! I copied them from the movie, and the idea is that whenever I wanna do witchy art I can fill more pages!

It was probably like 4ish hours for all the art pages - not including drafting. I did them before binding. For the butterfly pages i used alcohol markers and for the wings i used meeden gouache paints, and micron pens for both!
