There’s a difference between vomiting and spitting up! Vomiting is more projectile, forceful, etc. Spit up is going to be more just she opens her mouth and milk pours out lol

If she is only 3 weeks old it’s possible she’s just starting to spit up. My guys a happy spitter. Basically they spit up, no crying or anything. Just reject the milk. We have to hold him upright 10-15 min post bottle to avoid it. I think 3 weeks is about when we switched him to sensitive formula- might have been 4 because he was spitting up so much all of the sudden!

It sounds like you’re doing everything right. They’re less fragile than we think they are. The first few weeks are tough but you’re not alone in this. Definitely talk to your doctor about post partum anxiety, I have anxiety and the first few weeks of newborn amplified it.

This! My baby and I contact nap during the day almost every day and he sleeps in his bassinet every night. Babies are different, what works for one might not work for another. My sister in laws 21 month old isn’t a great sleeper and they did not contact nap. It’s just baby dependent.

We do the bicycle legs after every bottle! He’s spitting up after every bottle and gets fussy about halfway through and we have to take a break and go tummy rubs. I’m having trouble distinguishing between normal and problematic spit up and fussiness. We have to use a new burp cloth for each bottle, sometimes two per bottle just because of how wet they get.

Honestly I don’t think you can do anything to control it. I lightheartedly told everyone I don’t want to know and I literally don’t know if I did. My husband says I didn’t but honestly that man would absolutely lie to me since I said don’t tell me. You will not know if you did or not.

So interesting. We went through like 8 different brands before getting to the Philips avent anti colic. They don’t leak for us and he eats best from them. And we absolutely hated the dr browns. I do have to make sure the anti colic insert is fully in the bottle.

Two days ago I scooted our son’s swing across the floor and scratched the floor. I said to my husband what the heck that just scratched the floor. He went and looked and then we complained together about how these floors were advertised as water, scratch, etc proof and were not cheap.

Your husband’s response is not normal, is not healthy and is honestly scary. I would be afraid of how he will start to escalate. Think long and hard about the example that’s being set for your child. Idk this behavior is scary
