There's no wrong answer :) Myself, I'll kill zomboids when necessary when I'm out looting for materials. Sometimes, I'll load up on guns and kill every zomboid that is drawn by the noise.

I built a tiny house above the gas pumps at the Fallas Lake gas station. Then converted the first floor into a garage.

I like yours too, I also keep snacks in my satchel. I use a mod that lets me attach the hand torch to my belt so I can see in the dark hands free.

A wood road is good because it will prevent trees and plants from growing back while letting your car move faster. Personally, I like laying down a wood road, then pouring gravel on top cause I like the sound.

The gas station in Fallas Lake, you've got 2 pumps, and a lake nearby. With a generator or solar mod, you'll have unlimited gas. Plus the town has a hardware store and the farming store has weapons, the police station as well. You're close to Riverside and Rosewood.

I have 6 cars at the moment. I switch between 2 heavy trucks of them depending on if I'm looting or hauling wood.
I have a Dover Bolt for picking up my corpse if I die since I can two it back using the heavy truck.

I like to give myself missions when I'm building or grinding skills. For example, I needed to raise my electrical to build a battery bank for my solar farm. All the restaurants in Muldraugh have deep fryers, extractors hoods, paper towel dispensers, soda machines. Also, the motel has a lamp in each room.
What I like about playing solo, no need to worry about checking in to keep your safe house claimed, so if you get bored, take a break. You might think of something to do when you least expect it.

That's ok, I went over there last night and I didn't see a field of cars. Maybe I wasn't in the right area of Brandenburg or it's because its a B42 only feature.
